Many of you would be wondering Do 'WLAN' and 'Wi-Fi' mean the same thing? Is there any way that will allow me to share my internet connection to other devices using my PC?.

Answer to these question is very tricky, but yes both Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) and WLAN (wireless local area network) mean the same - they both refer to a wireless network that can transfer data at high speeds. But to share data connection with other devices you need to connect to the internet using a data card, your Wi-Fi can be used to create a Wi-Fi hotspot to share the data connection with other devices.
